  • Children under 18 years of age are not permitted to use Verijet services.  We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 18.  By using Verijet’s services, you represent that you are 18 years of age or older.
  • Verijet does not sell your data and information to unrelated third parties.  We may share your data and information for business, legal, and regulatory purposes with other affiliates, business partners, service providers, regulatory agencies, and law enforcement when legally required or to coordinate and deliver a full service and user experience.
  • Verijet uses standard industry practices and commercially available resources to protect the security of your data and information.
  • Only authorized team members and collaboration partners have access to your data and information.
  • Verijet retains your data and information as long as necessary to complete business transactions, maintain required business records and reporting, and meet the requirements of legal and regulatory agencies.
  • You have the right to see and, in some cases, edit your data or remove it.
  • Verijet maintains the right to change and update our policies at our sole discretion at any time and based on legal or regulatory needs as related to the terms of use, tracking technologies, types of data and information collected, processing and use, access, sharing, retention, disclosure, and user rights.

At Verijet, we understand the importance of your privacy, safety, and convenience.  We are committed to protecting the personal data and information that you share with us when you use our website. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data and information.

Please read this policy carefully.  It binds you to the terms and conditions of using the website, our mobile apps, and any digital or other services we may offer.

Your continued use of this website, any other Verijet webpages, any Verijet mobile apps, or any other digital services we may offer, constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.

Why We Collect Data and Information.

We use the data and information we collect for a number of business purposes.

  • To better understand our customer’s experiences and behaviors while using our digital and flight services.  We use the information we collect to improve our platforms and services.
  • To provide quoting and reservation services.  We strive to make your experience as easy, quick, and accurate as possible.
  • In marketing communications that include updates about our digital and flight services, new marketing campaigns, and other related purposes.
  • To improve the functionality and features of our digital and flight services.  For example, we collect website usage data that includes:  page views, activities, and user navigation thru the website and its functions and features.
  • To monitor, identify, and prevent fraud.
  • To perform other related business activities described in this policy.

Data Collected by Verijet

In general, Verijet collects Cookies, personally identifiable information when the user volunteers it while using our digital services, and non-personally identifiable information collected automatically by various technologies and platforms for marketing data and other analytical purposes and customer support.

General Purposes

  • To provide our products, Services, and Digital Properties to you, including processing and fulfilling transactions; enabling you to access the Digital Properties and our Services; operating, maintaining, and improving our Digital Properties and Services; communicating with you, such as by completing your support requests or providing security updates; and diagnosing, repairing, and tracking service and quality issues.
  • For our own business purposes, including maintaining business records, internal reporting, accounting, and similar business purposes; IT security management and other IT-related tasks; administration of our technologies and networks; evaluating and improving business operations, Services, and Digital Properties; and performing research and development.
  • For marketing and advertising purposes, including behavioral analysis, service development, and advertising.
  • For customs and immigration purposes, including the legal requirements of the Transportation Security Administration and Customs and Border Protection.
  • For legal, safety, or security reasons.  Verijet must comply with legal requirements and regulations of US local, state, and federal law enforcement, and judiciary agencies, e.g., FAA, DOT, FTC, TSA, CBP,  CDC, and SEC.  Verijet also must comply with international laws and regulations of the European Union (EU), and other countries and continental unions around the world, when and as required to deliver digital and transport services in those foreign regions.

Data Sharing

Verijet does not sell data and information collected from users and customers.

Verijet will share data and information with related and unrelated third parties as needed for business, legal, and banking purposes to support delivery of services in accordance with legal and regulatory purposes.

Such as proof of vaccination, passport, visa, and other information permissible or required by law.

In addition to the information that we collect from you directly, we may also receive data and information about you from other sources, including affiliates, business partners, third parties that offer extended or collateral digital services or intelligence, and publicly available sources.

Data and Information Disclosure

Verijet may disclose your data and information to multiple agencies for business, legal, and regulatory purposes.  These may include:

  • Affiliates and subsidiaries of the Verijet parent and holding companies.  
  • Service and platform providers and other third parties when necessary to complete a transaction.  
  • Business and channel partners.
  • Professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors.
  • Government agencies, law enforcement, courts, and third parties as required by law, regulation, or legal process.

Security

No method of transmission over wired and wireless networks, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, 100% of the time.  Verijet employs reasonable efforts and industry practices, and commercially available resources to protect the data and information we collect.  The technology environment evolves constantly and rapidly.  Verijet attempts to remain up to date to the extent possible and feasible.  

In the event that we are required by law to inform you of a breach of your personal information, we may notify you electronically, in writing, or by telephone, if permitted to do so by law.

Some Verijet digital technologies and services permit users to create an account.  When you create an account, you are prompted to create a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, and you are responsible for any access to or use of your account by someone else that has obtained your password, whether or not such access or use has been authorized by you.  You should notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your password or account.

Data and Information Access.

Verijet restricts access to data and information based on roles and responsibilities of its team members.

Data and Information Retention.  How long will data be retained by Verijet?

We will retain the personal data, commercial data, electronic data, geo-location data, and sensitive personal data and information we collect and process for as long as required to satisfy the purpose for which it is collected and used (for example, for the time necessary for us to provide the Services, provide you with customer service, answer your queries, or resolve technical problems), unless a longer period is required or permitted by law, such as to fulfill our legal obligations or to establish, protect or defend legal claims.

User Rights.

Described below are some of the privacy rights we offer to you and others. Where the rights described below are provided by law, there may be limitations or exceptions that apply to your request in accordance with applicable legal requirements. We have described these rights generally, without noting all applicable or potentially applicable limitations or exceptions. When you make a request, we may provide more detailed information regarding any legal requirements applicable to your request and whether any exception or limitation applies.   • Right to access personal information. You have the right to request that we confirm that we process your personal information, and for access to the personal information we have collected about you. 
  • Right to data portability. You have the right to obtain a copy of your personal information in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format that allows you to hold or transmit as desired.
  • Right to request deletion of personal information. Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to request that we delete the personal information that we collected about you. Once we receive and review your request, we will delete your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies.
  • Right to ask us to correct personal information. You can ask us to correct information about you that is inaccurate. We will consider the nature of the personal information and the purposes of our processing when we address your request.
  • Right to opt out of sharing, or processing of personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. 

Policy Changes.

This policy is the sole source of disclosure about our collection and use of data and information that may be collected from you and others.  Any questions should be directed to Verijet’s Legal Department.

We reserve the right, at any time, to modify, alter, and/or update this Policy, and any such modifications, alterations, or updates will be effective upon our posting of the revised Policy. 

Your continued use of the Services following our posting of any revised Policy will constitute your acknowledgement of the amended Policy.

Tracking, Do Not Track Disclosures, and Ad Choices (All States)

Our website requires cookies to operate fully. You are free to set your browser or operating system settings to limit certain tracking or to decline cookies, but by doing so, you may not be able to use certain features on our websites or participate in all of our services. Refer to your web browser or operating system website or “Help” section for more information on how to delete and/or disable your browser or operating system from receiving cookies or controlling your tracking preferences.

Some browsers have a Do Not Track feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked.  Our system may not respond to Do Not Track requests or headers from some or all browsers. On your mobile device, you may also adjust your privacy and advertising settings to control whether you want to receive more relevant advertising.

Network advertisers and Verijet may periodically show you ads online for products and services in which you might be interested based on your visits to both our websites and other websites (also known as “Interest-Based advertising”). In order to do this, we need to place a cookie or other tracking device on your computer. If you prefer not to receive online ads in this manner, you can opt out of some network advertising programs that use your information by tracking your browsing habits via cookies or other tracking devices. To do so, you can use the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) Opt-Out Tool by control- clicking here. Opting out of a network does not mean you will no longer receive online advertising. It only means that the network from which you opted out will no longer deliver ads tailored to your web preferences and usage patterns.

CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

If you live in California, you may have the right to request (no more than twice in a 12-month period) to see the following information about the personal information we have collected about you during the past 12 months:

  • The categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • The categories of sources from which we collected the personal information.
  • The business or commercial purpose for which we collected the personal information.
  • The categories of third parties with whom we shared the personal information.
  • The categories of personal information about you that we disclosed for a business purpose, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed that information for a business purpose.

California law gives you the right to ask if we disclose your personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes and gives you the right to ask if we sell your personal information to third parties.  We do not disclose your personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes, and we do not sell your personal information.

Subject to certain exceptions the law provides, such as those pursuant to the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act and the California Financial Information Privacy Act, you have the right to ask us to delete the personal information we have collected from you.  Please note that we may not comply with a request you make to us to delete your information if there are one or more exceptions the law provides, and you may no longer be able to use our Services if you delete your personal information or account.  To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may charge a reasonable fee to comply with your request.

We will not discriminate against you, deny, charge different prices for, or provide a different quality of goods or services if you choose to exercise your rights under applicable California law.
